Jong K. Kim, MD
President and founder of Advanced Diagnostic Radiology (ADR), graduated Summa Cum Laude, from the University of California, Riverside, in March 1984 with a BA in Chemistry. He attended the University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France, from 1981to 1982 where he studied French Civilization and History. Dr. Jong Kim, received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois in June 1989. He also graduated from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Chicago, Illinois in June 1989 with a MBA. Dr. Jong Kim did an Internal Medicine Internship at Saint Joseph Hospital, Chicago, Illinois from 1989 to 1990 . He then did his radiology residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, San Diego, California from 1990 to 1994. Dr. Jong Kim received his American Board of Radiology Certification in 1994. In addition to serving as President of Advanced Diagnostic Radiology (ADR), Dr. Jong Kim is Directory of Radiology Services at the following facilities in West Virginia; Potomac Valley Hospital, Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Grant Memorial Hospital, Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, and Pocahontas Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kim also provides training to medical students under the Rural Community Health Program. Dr. Kim is active in the community as a member of Rotary International and as a member of the Cumberland Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Jong Kim specializes in the following areas, Women’s Imaging, particularly breast MR, cardiac imaging, particularly echocardiography and cardiac MR and CT virtual cardiac catheterization.
Myung-Sup Kim, MD
Founder of Summit Radiology over 20 years ago, brought to the Tri-State area cutting edge clinical expertise in the field of Interventional Radiology. He was the first Interventional Radiologist in the area to perform various interventional radiology procedures, such as PTA (percutaneous transluminal angioplasty), intravascular stents, and the minimally invasive repair of abdominal aneurysms (percutaneous aortic stent grafting). He graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Southwestern Union College, Keene, Texas in 1974 with a BA in Chemistry. Dr. M.S.Kim attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas from 1974-1978 where he received his medical degree. Dr. M.S. Kim did his radiology residency from July 1978 to June 1982 at The West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia, where he specialized in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. In 1983 Dr. Kim received his American Board of Radiology with Special Competency in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. M.S. Kim also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at WVU. Dr. M.S. Kim specializes in Interventional Radiology procedures which include Endovascular Laser Therapy, Percutaneous Biopsies and Vertebroplasty.
Dr. Clarence J. Vincent
Dr. Clarence J. Vincent, a well know local cardiologist who closed his practice in May 2004 after practicing in the Cumberland area since 1967 brings a wealth of knowledge in the area cardiac imaging to Advanced Diagnostic Radiology (ADR). Dr. Vincent was a pioneer for cardiology services in the Cumberland area and was instrumental in bringing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures to Sacred Heart Hospital. Dr. Vincent was Director of Cardiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Sacred Heart Hospital from January 1977 to January 1998 and was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington D.C. from 1984 to 1998. Dr. Vincent is currently providing interpretations of various cardiac imaging studies performed at Advanced Diagnostic Radiology (ADR).
